Xpress Information is committed to the protection of consumer rights and encourages their active participation in the direct marketing process. We believe that consumers through modern technology are able to voice their express wish to be included or removed from marketing campaigns. Though a lot of emphasis is placed on the right not to be marketed to, there is also the equal right for the consumer to be marketed to in sectors or products of their choice.

The consumer has the right to:

  • Question the origin of the contact information utilized in a marketing campaign.

  • Have direct access to contacting the list provider to verify the origin (directly or indirectly)
    of their contact information.

  • Opt-out of any marketing list. Have their records added to a “do not contact” list, thereby
    ensuring they do not receive unsolicited communication of any kind.

  • Selectively opt-in for specific industry sectors. Have their records added to selective
    market sectors’ communications.

  • Be responded to on any query or complaint within a reasonable time-frame.

  • Be treated with the same respect and consideration, irrespective of economic
    or social standing.
